Coaching

Format: Individual or team coaching can range from a single reflective session over video conference to a series of face-to-face sessions, working through a personal, or business goal.

Approach: I focus less on models and theory and instead on want you want to achieve; be that in an individual or team coaching context.

It’s about very focused interventions that move you forward in a specific and valuable way.

I base success on your terms, but for me it’s about making a measurable positive difference in your working life or your team’s performance.

Facilitation & training

Format: I deliver workshops, events and virtual instruction for groups of any size, either alone or as part of a faculty. Areas I specialise include:

Learning design

Format: I design creative and impactful blended learning programmes that combine practical skills takeaways with experiences that embed new actions and behaviours.

Approach: Using powerful design methods developed with adult learning specialists over many years, I design high energy experiences and digital learning resources ‘in the flow of work’ that access different learning styles whilst delivering high contextual relevance.

Combining behavioural science and modern delivery methods, my goal is focused on producing real performance improvement not just delivering content.

About me

Qualifications

I’m an ILM qualified coach (Distinction) and have a CIPD qualification.

I am also qualified in the use of several assessment tools and psychological concepts such as EQI (emotional intelligence) and NLP (neurolinguistic programming).

Experience

I’ve spent most of my career as a senior leader in corporate learning and development with big consultancies such as Accenture, PA Consulting and AchieveForum (now Korn Ferry), working with global leaders across financial services, life sciences, energy, government, travel, retail and leisure.

I’ve facilitated hundreds of training programmes all over the world, face-to-face and virtually and MC’d conferences and events for as many as 400 people at large, high profile venues such as the Excel in London.

Approach

I focus on building the kind of client relationships that deliver practical, tangible outcomes for participants based on a clear set of objectives.

It’s about engagement through insightful questioning, active listening and positive challenge that takes the thinking to another level. I’m interested in helping you hit your specific goals, not just about trying to establish long running relationships.
